SpecSync

Schedules, bid sheets, verified packets

SpecSync pulls from plans and the spec book, builds schedules by mark, optionally prices the bid on the same job, then turns that data into a submittal — so Takeoff, Windows, and Hardware aren’t rebuilding the job three times.

Who it’s for

Door & window shops — Residential and Commercial desks that live in plans, spec books, takeoffs, and vendor submittals. Department labels only: Residential, Commercial, Hardware, Windows, Takeoff.

Why it matters

Wrong packet upstream means wrong PO, wrong lead time, and a field call you didn’t budget. SpecSync is the pre-order check — not another spreadsheet tab.

  1. 01

Pull from plans & the spec book

Drop plans and specs into Files. Pick the department scope you’re working — Doors, Frames, Hardware, and more — without retyping the takeoff.

  2. 02

    Build the working schedules

Turn that takeoff into door, hardware, and frame schedules by mark — schedules the shop can work from, not a pile of marked-up PDFs.

  3. 03

    Verify before you order

Yellow means eyes needed: missing sizes, finish conflicts, hardware gaps. Bubble what you use on cut sheets; strike what you don’t. Configured to your office — approve a cut sheet once, and next time SpecSync auto-selects it for you to confirm.

  4. 04

    Price the bid (optional)

Same job as Packets: fill sell numbers by mark, scope what’s in vs by-others, then export a priced door schedule or SOV / budget letter — still with human verify.

  5. 05

    Create the submittal

Generate a clean submittal packet from the same data — less retyping into vendor portals and PO drafts.

  6. 06

    Hand off once

One verified packet downstream. When the job changes, see what moved before it becomes a field surprise.
